Most PCs come with NIC cards in them now and I would think a lot of folks have
their AS/400's "on their wire" so look at the Netwolf (well actually I think 
it's
now called IP Client because of a name conflict) product from Synapse (
http://www.synapse.com/tcpip.htm)

We've been using it for 3 years and LOVE it. Use it here at Corporate, at remote
branches connected via Frame Relay and for dial in user (coming into a
communication server...).
