Chris,

Firstly, the QDLS folder in the root of the IFS would need to be specified
as a File Share. This is done in OpsNav. File Systems-->Integrated File
System--> Right Click on QDLS--> Sharing-->New Share and give it a name and
save it. Then you can get to it from My Network Places.
We currently have a ton of documents in QDLS. I'm slowly moving them to
shares in the Root system. It is allot more flexible. QDLS is a fallback
from the old PC Support Shared Folders. There is still a 8.3 file name
convention enforced. I even have my QDLS share as I:\.

Have a great weekend,

Mark

I am on Win 2K. Can I map the root of my QDLS as a drive on my pc? I can
map a subdirectory, but not the root.

Thanks for any help,
Chris Whisonant
