Slightly off topic - Officevision

I can convert various office documents to Word OK with 1 exception so
far.

How do I embed one document inside another?  IOW, if I have text that is
to appear in various documents, but only want it stored in one place, I
did a separate document in Officevision and included it wherever needed
with an include instruction like this:

        inc(document,folder,)

I can't figure out how to do that in Word.  If I open the Officevision
document with Word, the include instruction disappears.  If I do an
insert/file within Word, the file is copied in instead of just a link.  

Can this be done?
