Chuck, Have you considered using LPR/LPD to send the spool file to a Unix print queue? Instead of printing it, it could probably then just process what it receives. The other system (UNIX) has an interface engine that will support parsing out the data, but requires that the info be sent on a specific port using TCP/IP.
