If I remember correctly the FEP for a 3090 is either a 3725 or 3745.  The
newer S/390's have internal slots for NICs as well as what is contained in
an attached 3745.  The FEP is either ESCON (fiber) or channel attached to
the system.

Boy does that go back *many_moons*!  :-)
