Because of a programming backlog, and not much money in the pot to spend, a quick solution was put into place that worked, until just recently - using snddst (no time to get everything set up yet to use the api's) we could send spool files as text attachments(the price was right "free") Now we cannot - all I found was exit point registrations now for msf, which I know where not there before, I have not found out why or how these got here(assuming IBM ptf's that came on and applied) Anyhow, I removed the exit points, attempted to start everything again, no go, exit point error on the retrieve exit information QusRetrieveExitInformaion api... OK, fine, I printed off everything before I removed the programs, so I attempted to add them back in, the system won't let me.... We are "still" on V4R4 until this weekend when we will be going to V4R5.... Has anyone else run into this, am I screwed, we only have a pay per use contract with IBM, Or am I going to have to tell management that we have to spend some money to have a "real" system for the AS/400 to do e-mailing and such.... If nothing else, any idea where to start looking for what the issue could be, so far I cannot find any relevant information on the web site for the books in searching them... TIA Mark A.
