I haven't forgotten about exit programs, Arlene, and in fact if one exists for this, it would be an excellent approach. I just don't have an easy way to determine which exit program corresponds to which command - this would be handy information to have in the help text for a command! The wrapper technique I posted in my second response resolves the issue of a single user. The command is then restricted to only those people authorized to the wrapper, which would in turn log the use. It would in effect be a "poor man's" exit program.
