Rob,

Now it is starting to sound like either a PTF issue, or authority.  Try
simplifying.  Copy something from your PC to the IFS and back so that it is
all ASCII.

That wonderfully informative File system error message is one you see for a
lot of errors, such as mismatched passswords, or other authority issues.


I'd also check your PTF's, especially if you are on a release prior to
V4R5.
