Do the objects remain locked for the job that was "logged off"? If so, that's something else to consider when you're trying to "clear" the system. Personally, I try to work in the TIMEOUT technique that I posted yesterday here in response to another query whenever possible. It helps ensure that apps and files are closed properly.
