I'm trying to do something I've never done before. It seems simple enough to me, but I can't get it to work. It's within an RPG ILE program. Printer file PO15PO is defined like this: FPO15PO O F 145 Printer OflInd(*INOA) F INFDS(PrtFDS) F UsrOpn Before I open the file, I issue an OVRPRTF command via a service program, like this: D @OvrPrtF C 'OVRPRTF PO15PO OUTQ(FAXSPLF)' D SysCmd S 2048 C Eval SysCmd = @OvrPrtF C CallP ExecCmd(SysCmd) The service program containing procedure ExecCmd is compiled ACTGRP(*CALLER). I've issued a bazillion OVRPRTF within CL programs over the years, to a specific OUTQ, and it works. Is there something screwy about USROPN that prevents this? Thanks. -- -Jeff The opinions expressed are my own and not necessarily the opinion of my company.
