This little exercise with the JMeter Web Stress Tool has been interesting.
Following Joe Pluta's lead to simulate 5 users, the CPU on my 170-2290 is
pegged at about ++++%, and the average user response time seems to be about
.5 seconds for a 6KB dynamic HTML response that includes data. But if I
drop the number of users back to 2, the average response time drops to about
.2 seconds, and the CPU drops to about 55%.

I'm not sure what this is telling me except that the ILE application server
is able to deliver a dynamic response in .2 seconds if my CPU is under less
pressure.

Nathan.
