Running V4R5M0. Manual being referenced is "DB2 UDB for AS/400 Query
Management Programming".

What I would like to do is change a "generated" QM/400 form & make some
changes to it. I've run the RTVQMFORM command & retrieved the form into a
source physical file member. What I am trying to do is change the "R" table
row records. The data for each row makes the number of characters for each
row to be 246 (includes spaces) & that is just to hard to read. What I
would like to do is print two lines for each detail row of the data. The
two pieces of data I would like to print on the first detail line would be
cusnbr & cusnme (columns 1 & 2 of the table which are also defined as BREAK1
columns) with the 16 other columns on the second detail line per row of the
table.

I've looked at Chapter 8 & do not see an example of what I would like to do.
Is this an example of something QM/400 cannot do & I need to resort to a RPG
program?

At the "Ask The Expert" night last week at COMMON, I posed the question &
the answer was to create my own printer file. Never having done this before
with a QM/400 object, it sounded like something that should be doable -
until I started in on the process. Am I going about this in the wrong way
with QM/400 or did I not understand what was suggested?

Any other suggestions other than using a program? With the amount of time
I've invested in this project, a program would have been done hours ago but
here I sit pondering making changes to the forms source code after I figure
out what all the codes mean.

Thanks - Dennis.
