Dan, I'm not sure about the actual capacity, but I recently did a Save-21 on a 170 with about 28G of disk used on 3 8mm (6390) tapes. Went over onto number 3 just a little. So...I believe it'll do 14G, or close, compressed, also. I'm using IBM labeled 8mm tapes from 3X Warehouse (or whatever it's called now). Their catalog also claims the 7-14G numbers.
