I dug into the QAEZDISK file output from RTVDSKINF the other day thinking that it might help. It seems to have a record for every IFS file, as it has entries for each QSYS.LIB object and each document in a folder. I found that the QAEZDISK file has fields for object name and library name and for document name and parent folder. The entries in QAEZDISK for IFS files, however, have no name or directory location information. All you can see are the object type (STMF), size, owner, ASP, and date information. I'm running V4R4, and I wondered whether it gets better in subsequent releases. -Jim James Damato Manager - Technical Administration Dollar General Corporation <mailto:jdamato@dollargeneral.com> -----Original Message----- From: rob@dekko.com [mailto:rob@dekko.com] Sent: Wednesday, May 09, 2001 11:46 AM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Object/size listing on IFS Does RTVDSKINF go into detail on IFS data? We currently use a program for the single-level storage which creates an outfile which we can SQL against. Any ideas on a good way to do the same for IFS? Justin C.
