Title: Multiple sessions per CRT

If multiple copies of a program are allowed to be run, is there a way to know, via retrievable system information, that more than one copy is running at the same physical device which would be either a PC or a dumb terminal. Application code or files that somehow attempt to use a list of device or user names is not an option, since many users use the same user name and device IDs may or may not be automatically assigned.
