Doesn't need PASE installed, just QSH.

Have PASE installed? If so, this is how we do it
(straight from our company's knowledgebase).

1. Type STRQSH at the command line to start the
Qshell command interpreter.

2. Navigate to the desired directory.
     a. Use ls to list the directories
     b. Use cd directory, where directory is the
directory name you want to navigate to

3. Type ls -l > outfile, where outfile is the name of
the file you want to redirect the output of the ls -l
command to.

The -l switch for ls uses the long listing format,
which gives file attributes such as filesize.

4. To move the results to an AS/400 physical file,
use the CPYFRMSTMF command.

Note, this will only work on machines with PASE
installed.
