According to the OS/400 Work Management manual: How Many Jobs on a Job Queue: There is no set limit to the number of jobs that can be on a job queue. It is limited only by how much work the system can handle. Thanks, IBM, for that clear answer. I suppose the only way to know the limit is to actually try it. I'd hate to execute the WRKJOBQ command against such a heavily populated job queue, though. To mirrow someone else's curiosity, what kind of application requires this many jobs? Can the application be rewritten to use one never-ending job instead of 150,000 individual jobs? >Is there a limit on the number of entries you can place in a job queue? >I'm wondering about 150,000 entries or so at one time. > >-- >Kirk Yates >Director of Data Processing >Rockwood School District >636.458.7333 extension 250 > > Ed De Ryder Silveredge Consulting Klein Tools, Inc.
