I think you have to configure it through qshell although there may be some
programs you can run at the command line.

I set it up about a year ago so my memory is fuzzy. It functioned but once
it was configured I found little use for it in my environment. I had some
hardcopy docs so that must have been a redbook and I also used support line.

You may be able to remove the licensed program if you're not using it at all
anywhere.

Phil,

Thanks for the prompt reply.

But I am not running directory shadowing or the tcp/ip server for LPAD. So
why is, or should I say, was it running. I now need to look for a ptf for
this job. It seems to get a lock every time it wakes up on the same user
space in qtemp. I don't think a job should have 30,000 + locks on the same
object, do You?

TIA

I believe this replicates the System Directory (WRKDIRE) to LDAP
directories.

It replicates every five minutes I think.
