A GUI package should do the job without ANY change in the
AS/400-environment.

I've been looking at one of them - NewLook - reputated for simplicity
in use but not in functionality. Installation of the demo took 30
minutes, 180 min to find out what it's all about and then finally 30
minutes to remove the copyright notice from the signon-display and add
an xxx background. Next screen was modified in 5 minutes.
Basicly ist's just an 5250 emulator (like CA/400), which can do
something special on special conditions (like CA/400 "HotSpot").
Best of all: You can maintain all definitions centrally.

Btw: We don't use it! Why? Because NewLook has a per-client license
policy. Maybe another GUI package is cheaper?
