I must be blind as a bat, because I didn't see anything like this on the iSeries page.

I checked it just now and finally saw what you were referring to.  If you click the banner at the top of the sign-up form, it tells something about the concept behind it.  http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/announce/iseries_nation.html   Looks interesting to me.
