The menu bar is entirely mouseable.  With an enhanced display it's 
attractive.  Adding radio buttons for various selections and choices is 
huge improvement over 24 function keys.  The implementation is difficult 
partly because so many shops that haven't had a terminal on premises for 
years still insist on programming for the lowest possible configuration. 
How many people still won't use yellow for a color because of column 
separators, for example?

Cary,

I don't know if anyone has told you this, but menubar is a cruel joke
created by some sick individual. Don't go there.  Run fast, run far.

Why not just place F7=Edit paragraph at the bottom of the screen?

If someone wants to edit a paragraph what do they have to do?  Place the
cursor, press a key to activate the menu bar, press another key to
activate the function they want.

IMHO, skip the menu bar.  Place the cursor, press F7.
