1. Create a new allocation and copy the data to it. Delete old.
2. Back it up using a PC type backup, delete / re-create / restore.

You cannot change the size of the allocation. 8-(

Folks:

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the disk allocation on an INS's
"disk" space?

When INS was initially installed, a largish chunk of dasd was allocated to
the INS ... we're not using it that much, so we'd like to reduce the
allocation (obviously, without loosing the data that's on it).

Is this possible?
