Is there a command that will show > what files were saved and the save date? If you are signed onto S/36 session ... on the command line key the word CATALOG then press the HELP key. If you do not have the latest version of SSP, or if your keyboard does not have a help key (F1 is not S/36 help), then on command line key HELP CATALOG then enter. You want to specify letter Tea then letter Sea "TC" to get at tape drive data. You want to specify letter Eye then digit One "I1" to get at diskette drive data as opposed to hard drive. You have the choice of listing the data by NAME or by LOCATION. If you do by NAME for disk it is extremely fast & the only way I have ever done it except when I was rearranging stuff by disk drive for balancing performance & too busy to do a compress. but by NAME for tape or diskette can be extremely slow, especially if multiple volume diskettes.
