Re: Web apps on the AS/400 (final)

I'd like to take a look at the Java code.  I wonder if all it shows is that
looping and byte buckets are tediously slow in Java.

With the danger of getting elected President of the Dead Horse
Molester Society, I hereby submit the results of the two string
problems all executed under identical conditions on the same
machine (the slowest 150 around, but with only one user - me).
The times are total time in seconds for 100,000 times around the loop:
