Cyndi,

I haven't read either book, but I do recommend Tipworld's
(http://www.topica.com/tipworld/index.html) daily SQL tip. The tips are
Oracle and SQL Server oriented, but many are applicable to UDB/400.

Regards,
Stan

Subject: SQL question

All,

We are getting a new box with SQL included. Yup, up till now, we did not
have SQL. I have only used it in SELECT statements for ODBC access from web
pages. So, we need to acquire a library to help us to use this tool. I have
received in the mail advertisements for two books, SQL/400 by Example by
James Coolbaugh and SQL/400 Developer's Guide by Paul Conte and Mike
Cravitz. I am looking for recommendations of any literature pro or con.
Email privately if you wish.
mailto:cyndib@ihfa.org

Thanks for your help.
