We have a nightly save cl which includes the following lines:

SAVOBJ OBJ(&PHFILE) LIB(&PHLIB) DEV(TAP02) ENDOPT(*LEAVE) SAVACT(*SYNCLIB)   'run in a loop to get all source members

also

SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP02.DEVD') SAVACT(*SYNC) ENDOPT(*LEAVE)   ' to save everything in an IFS library

While the job was running, I took a peek at the job log.  Good Lord!  The warning was there hundreds of times, once before every SAV* command.  So now my worry is - what will happen if I DLTLICPGM on the BRMS product?

Tom,

I'm not sure.  I currently don't use BRMS.  I didn't think it did.  However, the
fact that you are getting the message indicates that it is actually being used.
Deleting the LP may cause you more problems.  You may have to do some more
investigating and see when the message is getting issued.

You can also do a WRKREGINF and look at the exit programs (opt. 8) for
QIBM_QTA_TAPE_TMS and see what program is there - that should tell us.....

Thanks Mike. Does BRMS use this feature?  I see that it's installed on our
new system, and wasn't on the old system.  If it's not needed, I'll just
delete the LICPGM.

We recently upgraded to a model 270, and now I see messages telling me
that the license for 5769SS1 feature 5103 will soon expire.  What is 5103?
