These are al examples of one-to-many implementations of DTD's as are WML, JSP taglibs, etc. In these cases the standards work, the 'one' creates the DTD, and the 'many' use it and nothing else. Unfortunately, the other uses of XML have fallen into the many-to-many ugliness of XML DTD 'standards' where many different sources, within the same vertical market, have created many same but different DTD's for the same thing. Just like, as Ken just pointed out, happens with EDI. --phil +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
