Java is as good for HTML widget development as it is for thick-client GUI, Leif. I'd swear you were trying to put words in my mouth. I don't disbelieve in thick-client, I'm simply focusing on browser development right now. The beauty of OO is that you can write classes to support either. The little snippet of RPG I showed in my earlier post supports not only a browser, but ALSO a thick client. It just so happens that I try to design my packages to support either thick- or thin-client development. I find that easier to do in Java than in other languages. Java is good for BOTH thick- and thin-client UI. At the same time. You might want to ask a question rather than make an assumption. That way you might not be confused by the inconsistencies of your assumptions.
