Leif, as Nina said, this has degraded into a food fight.  If you're REALLY
serious about learning the benefits of Java in designing applications, drop
me an email, or better yet join JAVA400-L where we're doing a bang-up job of
discussing exactly that.  The dicussion is no longer relevant here, from my
point of view, and I'm dropping it.
