I thought I was just going to remark on some of the OO capabilities of Java and how they can be used to create killer AS/400 apps, not try to defend the OO concept. And now that I have realized that that's what I was doing, I am bowing out of that particular argument. It's as much of a religious war as the 8085-vs-Z80 or C-vs-Pascal wars of the 70's and 80's.
