That has to be read in context with the class creator and class consumer. Class consumers can write Java very easily, with little or no OO training. Class creators, on the other hand, must think entirely differently than procedural programmers. Also, for the reasons I stated, an external I/O module is NOT a class. It is class-like, but it is not a class. And you know what? If you don't believe me, it's okay, I'm just unable to express myself to you here on this list. The people I teach understand the concepts, and go on to write great code. I'm not going to convert you, and I can live with that. But I can't spend time arguing. I have code to write and classes to teach.
