We would recommend you look at LANSA for the Web (be warned we are now LANSA
partners but we did try  other tools first & this is by far the best).

Response times are great, sub 2 secs for complex calculations & database
access (if you have no line contention). I'v done some back to back testing
with LANSA versus JAVA & RPG backend (Websphere) and LANSA is faster AND the
CPU utilization for JAVA/RPG/Websphere is up to 50% higher! Plan a big box
if you go the Websphere/JAVA route and are expecting more than 1 user.
