I just installed 2 Xerox DP65 printer TCP/IP attached through a Sun Solaris box running Unix. I use crtoutq to create an outq for it. I put Job Sep of 1 and SEPPAGE of *yes. No delivery/banner page. I talk to Xerox and third party vendor and they say 400 is not sending. I should mention here that the spool file goes to the Sun box and runs through third party software that transforms the EBCIDIC file with DJDE (Xerox code) to ASCII, so the DP65 can print forms, logos etc. I have done this with HP printers using Netserver and IP and no problem. I also had an old Xerox but it was through a Spur box and bus/tag/twinax attached. No remote outq. I want to prove to this Unix college boy (he does not even know how to spell AS400) that I am sending the right stuff and he is losing the banner page. Did I do this right? How can I verify it is in print stream when sending from 400 over network to their box? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
