Bob, I'm not sure if you ever got this resolved, but my suggestion would be to make sure the proper modes needed by dos pcs are started for the ethernet controllers/devices. hth, Eric DeLong ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: PC Support and 5494's Author: "Bob Crothers" <SMTP:bob@cstoneindy.com> at EXCHANGE Date: 2/26/01 2:38 PM I have a customer who has a 5494 controller at a remote location. To this, an Extended DOS PC Support device was attached via twinax. This 5494 was connected to the AS/400 via Token Ring and working just fine. Then they changed the 5494 to AS/400 connection to Ethernet. The display devices came up, but NOT the PCS device. They then changed back to Token Ring. And it still will not come up. The router starts just fine. But we can not start anything else....it just hangs. Any ideas?
