Title: RE: display entrails of program object.sppgm

I'm trying to examine the names of variables. I don't want to change any run-time values. Just need to use the names. Is it also possible to find out what the name represents? A variable, a subroutine name,  a procedure name? The .sppgm in the original subject was a typo on my behalf. I ran the DMPSYSOBJ and could see the names of various entities in the print-out after a section called HLL Symbolic table, which is what I presume to be the area where the compiler maintains its list of names and addresses?

Is it also possible to obtain the attributes of the fields? Henry Krebs site suggests that he can already do this so.
Thanks Simon.
