Maarten, You have the proper setup for RAID (Device Parity). Even though the first drive is the load source it still participates in the RAID set. Just IPL to DST and select 'Start Device Parity' under work with disk units, and the system will figure this out for you. Note that you must be at an ABSOLUTE maximum of 75% disk utilization or the start parity will fail on your system due to lack of space. You should be below 60% or you're going to need more disk soon.
