I do not beleive Java is dead. Too many lines of code have gone into
production (not by me) for the world to drop this. Many of the faithful
are outside of IBM, giving it even more chances. I think MS just made
a bad strategic move. 
Speaking of languages that will never die, it is interesting to note 
that John Sears of IBM will be speaking in Feb to the SNUG user group
on "B2B with RPG".
