I believe if you stop/restart RAID it will configure a set of 8 and a set of 4. Slots available for disks are 12 maximum in base unit. The 6532 is specified as capable of having 4 to 10 drives in one RAID-set and being able to have four RAID-sets attached. When adding another two 4GB drives of same type as above, do I have to form a second set, or just add them and they are running "side by side" ? When forming two sets of, lets say, 8 disks in set 1 and 4 disks in set 2, is it the right way to go to DST and stop RAID, select the first 8 disks to make up set 1, then start protection, then the same with the rest for set 2 ? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance !
