Have a PC ready to be the console ;-) It really surprised the guy who ordered it for us that we couldn't hook a twinax device to it. Now we just telnet to it. We've had one for about three weeks now, and it's pretty nice. If anything, it was too fast and we started getting DDM errors. We tweaked DDM settings and it's working like a charm now. Much faster than our old 170. Have fun with it! My boss said that he's hoping to order a new machine in the next few weeks. It's a "high-end 270, without interactive (batch only)". It'll be used strictly as our web server; we'll be doing no development on this box. Any development will be done on our current box, and copied over to the new one. We use the IBM HTTP server and Net.Data. From within Net.Data, we call several CL and RPGIV programs, as well doing a lot of SQL searches.
