Hi all,

My friend asked me to post this problem.

Consider the following DDS :

A DSPSIZ(24 80 *DS3)
A R METEST
A CA03(03)
A FIELD 2D I 5 9CHECK(ME)
A CHECK(MF)

If you test this file and press ENTER (without typing into the field) the
does not lock, and the application receives spaces in FIELD. However
typing a 0 int the field and pressing ENTER of F3 will lock the display.
Seems that CHECK(ME) has no effect.
This was tested with Client Access PC5250 3179-2 emulation. With Mocha
W32 TN5250 3179-2 emulation CHECK(ME) is honored, that is you cannot
pass blanks in FIELD to the application.

The question: how should this work in theory?

TIA,

Benjamin Budai
