The switch was off when I got it, and it's been unplugged for a while. 
I turned the switch on before I tried to IPL.  I have it apart right
now, but forgot to bring my voltmeter back when I went home for lunch.
(That was before I saw this message.)  Thanks for the in depth
information; can't wait to try it tomorrow.
