So, when you tried it on the other machine, you copied the file over to that machine? I'd double check the spelling of the file name and directory location of the file. Also, is the file Read Only? Shouldn't make any difference but might.
Also, are you sure the message is telling you that the PC file is locked or not found? Maybe it's the AS/400 file that's locked or not found.

No matter what I try I get this same message. I've tried it on a different machine and I still get this message.

Make sure that you don't still have it open in Excel, I know you said all
other apps are closed but I ran into this earlier in the week and the user
had the Excel file open. Otherwise check your file extensions and verify
that you can find the file using Windows Explorer or something.

Subject: Excel File Transfer
Hi all,
I'm having a slight problem trying to transfer an excel file to our AS400
from my PC using client access. I have created the FDF for the file in
question but when I go to run the transfer I keep getting the error that the
PC file can not be found or is locked by another application. All other
applications are closed down and the file is in the correct directory but
this message keeps on popping up and it is driving me crazy.... Can anyone
tell me what I'm doing wrong here????
TIA
Keith
