Albert, This is supposed to be possible using AnyNet DLUr (requester) support which was added to V3R7 OS/400 as an enhancement and is in BASE V4R1 or higher. This support encapsulates the SNA packets for "dumb" LU type devices as TCP/IP packets to the mainframe. We started to implement this functionality two years ago to eliminate the need for the 5769-CM1 product. We later decided to use MQSeries to eliminate our RJE/NJE configuration. I can tell you that we were able to use AnyNet DLUr support in testing to route basic 3270 display and print emulation session over TCP/IP. We never could get our RJE *SNUF devices or dependent APPC LU's to work using AnyNet. We were told that this should work in theory using Anynet from IBM Rochester. Hope this helps....... James A. I know the AS/400 supports SNA over TCP/IP but I don't know if the mainframe supports it? Does anyone know of any documentation on this? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
