  • Subject: How do I load the code onto the AS/400

Hi,

Is there by chance anyone that knows where I could find a program that
would automate the process of splitting up the source code files from
MidrangeComputing.com placing them in their proper source file. I'll try to
explain this better. When a file is downloaded from
http://www.midrangecomputing.com/mc/code.cfm
it is neatly identified as to which is part of the file is CL, RPG, CMD
* Begin Member - DSPUSRSC, Type - CMD                               *
* Begin Member - SCN001CL, Type - CLP                               *
* Begin Member - SCN001DF, Type - DSP                               *
* Begin Member - SCN001RG, Type - RPG                               *

They come all in one txt file. Does anyone know where I could find a
program that would create a source member in the appropriate source file
and copy the code into it? I'm amazed over the years that someone hasn't put
it on their web site under the link "How do I load the code onto the AS/400
once I've got it?"

TIA

Gary Kuznitz
