To all,

When we installed our 820 last week Wednesday, the CE could not get the
internal model 2771 modem to work. He found out there were three ptf's I
needed to get. Did that this morning via my other system & then transferred
them to the 820, loaded, & applied them. Looking through the history I know
they are applied.

Going through SF64124 cover letter to do the special instructions listed to
activate "Universal Connection Over TCP/IP ECS Support", I've reached an
impasse.

Using Ops Nav on Step 5 (To configure the Universal Connection for ECS) ,
substep 5 says to Right Click on Connection Profile. Then I should "Select
the Universal Connection Wizard & begin the configuration process". I don't
see anything labeled like that. When I do the right click all I see are |
Explore | Open | Create Shortcut | New Profile| Properties| with Properties
being grayed out.

What I also see in the instructions is a note that says, "Note: the
Universal Connection Wizard is part of the optionally installed Network
component. You must have this component installed in order to install the
wizard".

So where is this Network Component software located so I can install it????
If it's part of Ops Nav, I installed everything - at least I think I did.
It looks like it is part of SF64217, the latest Client Express Service Pak,
which has been installed on the 820.

So, I am still confused as to where the Wizard is located & how I can get to
it?
