I am also trying to print overlay to CA printer.
Have a diff problem. CA printer configures
as AFP *NO. CHGDEVPRT will not allow
change of that parm.
HPT is on. I have HP 1100 laser, and IBM
recommends HP5si as closest fit. My CA
only has up to HPIIIsi, which should still
be AFP ok. Generated device as 3812-all
looks ok except AFP=No.
Any help appreciated.
Jim

Booth - is your connection thru a remote controller?
A guess, but I beleive needs certain level on remote controllers
for an advanced printer data stream. Same problem
with file transfers. Mostly non-IBM controllers.
