Hi,

We have files that we FTP from our AS/400 (V4R3) to another FTP server.

I am not sure if it matters, but we FTP from a library, not IFS.

The problem is, when the file arrives at the FTP server all the trailing
spaces for each line of the file have been removed.

It definately is fixed 80 characters wide on the AS/400 because the CA
transfer keeps the file looking OK.

The file needs to remain 80 characters wide for each line of the file.

Does anyone know of how we can FTP these files and retain the file
characteristics.

TIA

Nathan
