I do not exactly understand the Web part but we choose this to replace OV.
Merges AS400 data into Word. Allows you to use Word for all formatting on
the AS400 data also. (bold,fonts etc)

Would RTF format work? We convert spool files to RTF in our FTP Manager
product, and I think you could do this pretty easily. The trick is to store
the RTF header and trailer source as wrapper for the data, then put a
formatting command at the beginning of each "line" of data. If you save a
simple document in RTF format you can see what it looks like. Windows and
Mac PCs will recognize the ".rtf" extension as something to be opened by
Word.
