My favorite format for at LEAST 10 years has been 02/Mar/01. No ambiguity. A pain to enter perhaps, but that's not my job! I think the mm/dd/yy, dd/mm/yy ambiguity will not be a disaster but is guarenteed to create some problems here and there. - Larry > What is 03/02/01? March 2nd, 2001?
