shop size/change mngmnt

how many pgmrs make a a small. medium or large shop.

where i work has grown from 2 to 5 and may add one more prgmr.

the question comes up every time we bring a new person in how about change 
mngmnt.

the business is a med size furniture mfg.

we have a large backlog of request for changes and new projects.

we have jd edwards for inventory and a/p.

the rest is home grown software some rpgII thru ile.

we are run by and work for accountants/upper mngmnt

is change mngmnt going to be just another stumbling block for the prgmr

and something else to be managed on top of everything else.

i would enjoy your comments and recommendations of change mngmnt software for 
the 400
